Minecraft Skeleton

Skeletons are a common hostile mob that will shoot arrows at you if they see you. Skeletons only spawn at light levels seven or below, which implies that they may spawn at night, in dark tunnels, and even in the ocean if they are in such environments.

Skeletons can track players from a distance of sixteen blocks away, and as soon as they notice people, they will draw their bows and prepare to launch arrows at you. Depending on the difficulty level you are playing, their arrows may have a greater or lesser capacity for accuracy. Skeleton cannot survive in the sunlight and must find shelter in the shadow of mountains, trees, or water. Skeletons that spawn underwater will instead use a sword to engage you in physical combat when they encounter you.
Getting too close to them might put you in harm's way, particularly when you're just starting. In the Bedrock version of Minecraft, underwater skeletons will instead spawn with a sword to use in close quarters combat against you. The vast majority of skeletons will instead spawn with a bow and discharge arrows at you. Having an understanding of how skeletons act will make it much simpler for you to kill them.

Where do skeletons spawns?

Skeletons have the potential to spawn in the overworld in any location where the light level is seven or below. This implies that they may spawn at any time, even at night, in caverns with little light, and even in the water. Even in the underworld, skeletons may spawn, and they will occasionally take the place of wither skeletons.

Skeletons also have a chance to spawn in the Nether's soul sand valleys.

The stray is a different kind of skeleton that has a chance to spawn in ice biomes and may be encountered there. Strays will hurl arrows of slowness in your direction; they have tattered clothing and rattling noise that echoes.

Strays are more dangerous as they can inflict slowness on you. Combined with their ranged attacks, it may be difficult to close the distance on these enemies.

The behavior of the Skeleton in Minecraft

Skeletons can locate players from a distance of sixteen blocks. As soon as the skeleton has gained anger on a player, you will see that player drawing their bows and preparing to fire arrows at you. Depending on the difficulty level you are playing, their arrows may have a greater or lesser capacity for accuracy.
In the Java version of the game, skeletons will chase players even after moving out of their range. When the player gets closer to a skeleton in the Bedrock version, the skeleton will fire its arrows quicker. Because of their superior range and increased speed, approaching skeletons might be challenging.

Skeletons will char in the sunlight and seek refuge in the shadow of nearby trees or clifftops to prevent completely perishing. They will also look for water; while they cannot swim, they will not perish in water either. There is a chance that certain skeletons may spawn wearing armor, and if they have a helmet, they will be resistant to being burned by the sun. These skeletons will continue to follow the player until they are out of aggro range. Putting on a skeleton helmet will halve their angry range, bringing their effective range down to eight blocks from its previous value of sixteen.

Skeletons that spawn equipped with swords will attempt to perform a melee attack on the player.
